Daniel DiMaggio is a board member for Greatwide Logistics Services.
Throughout his 35 year career with United Parcel Service (UPS),
DiMaggio played an important role in the company's efforts to respond
to and anticipate changing customer needs for logistics services. In
1998 after 26 years with UPS, DiMaggio was promoted to chief executive
officer of UPS Logistics Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UPS. After
DiMaggio became CEO, UPS Logistics Group grew to become a
billion-dollar unit of UPS.
From 1995 to 1998, DiMaggio was chief operating officer of UPS
Worldwide Logistics, a UPS Logistics Group company providing global
supply chain management solutions.
DiMaggio began his career in engineering management, including feeder
networking, hub and systems planning and package operations planning.
As both a district and region manager, he directed industrial
engineering recruiting and staffing and helped to create the UPS
Industrial Engineering Leadership School.
Prior to joining UPS Worldwide Logistics in April 1995, DiMaggio held
key positions in UPS Corporate Marketing for five years, as vice
president for air marketing and as vice president for international
marketing.
