Greatwide Logistics Services Names New CFO

Greatwide Logistics Services - a national provider of non-assetbasedtransportation and third party logistics - today announced that Stephen Bishop has been named as the corporation's chief financial officer.
With more than 25 years of experience, Bishop will be responsible for the company's overall financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, financial administration and controls. He will work closely with other members of the corporate management team to structure finance functions that will facilitate the organization's continued growth. "Stephen's knowledge and experience enables us to continue following the strategic path that began with the creation of Greatwide, while streamlining our operations and enhancing the value of our entire organization," said Ray Greer, CEO of Greatwide Logistics Services. Over the course of his career, Bishop has gained broad experience in the transportation and logistics industry, as well as specialized skills in cost reduction, refinance, tax policy and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Prior to joining Greatwide, Bishop served as chief financial officer of Agility's Global Integrated Logistics' Defense and Government Services business and, previously, as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Agility business formerly known as GeoLogistics Corporation. Bishop joined Agility after it acquired GeoLogistics in September 2005. He was part of the team that led GeoLogistics through a turnaround that was recognized by Buyoutsmagazine as the Turnaround of the Year.
Bishop has also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at NetJets, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. NetJets is the world's leading fractional aircraft provider, operating more than 600 aircraft. At NetJets, Bishop was responsible for developing and leading a world class team of finance and operating professionals that was instrumental in growing NetJets annual revenues from $650 million to $2.5 billion. Bishop earned his master's degree from Northeastern University in Boston and his bachelor's degree from the University of Maine in Orono.
