Greatwide Logistics Services was originally formed as Transport
Industries Holdings in 2000 when Fenway Partners, a New York-based
private equity firm with more than $1.4 billion under management,
acquired Transport Industries, LP, a dedicated contract trucking
carrier based in Mesquite, Texas.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company operates 90 facilities in
48 states with approximately 5,500 trucks and 1,700 trailers that are
either owned, leased or provided by more than 2,000 owner-operators
The company has revenues exceeding $1 billion and is ranked number 11 on the Transport Topics Top-50
Clients of Greatwide include Wal-Mart, Target, IBM, Sysco, UPS, Dow, Ford Motor, GM and General Tire
