Doug Clark
President and CEO, Freight Brokerage

Douglas G. Clark became president of Greatwide Truckload Brokerage Division in October 2005 when Greatwide acquired Cargo-Master, an award-winning, multi-modal brokerage. Clark is responsible for maintaining historical growth of the transportation brokerage division and integrating brokerage into the other divisions where applicable.

Prior to Greatwide, Clark was executive vice president of Golman-Hayden and president of Cargo-Master, where he supervised the operations of 17 transportation brokerage offices nationwide. He was responsible for managing revenues in excess of $110 million. At Golman-Hayden, where he worked since 1979 in brokerage of exempt commodities such as peanuts, cotton and other consumer products, Clark experienced the growth of the company from six employees to more than 170, with revenues rising from under $500,000 to more than $100 million.

Clark serves in 2007-2008 as Chairman of the Board of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), the professional organization of the $100 billion third party logistics industry. In 2006, Cargo-Master was selected as Broker of the Year by the National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC). In 2007, Cargo-Master was named one of the top 25 brokerages nationwide by Transport Topics magazine. Clark has received the Dallas 100 Award, which recognizes the top 100 CEOs in North Texas.
