Raymond Greer is president and chief executive officer of Greatwide Logistics Services, joining the company in 2005.

Greer has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation, logistics and technology sectors. He has overseen the growth of numerous internationally recognized companies, including Newgistics, i2 Technologies, Ryder Integrated Logistics and Federal Express Corporation.

Prior to joining Greatwide, Greer served as CEO of Newgistics Inc., the leader in intelligent returns management solutions for the direct retail and mobile communications industries. Greer had previously served as president of i2 Technologies, the industry leader of planning and scheduling software for supply chain management.

At Ryder Integrated Logistics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ryder Systems, Inc., Greer also served as president, chief operating officer and chief information officer. During his six-year tenure at Ryder, the company grew from $400 million in annual revenue to more than $2 billion.
In addition, Greer held numerous senior-level leadership positions during his 12 years with Federal Express Corporation.

In 2002, VARBusiness magazine named Greer one of the nation's top 100 CEOs. In 1997, he was named one of Forbes Magazine's "Rising Stars of Our Time." Greer presently serves on the board of Kitty Hawk, Inc. and Panther Expedited Services, Inc. He has also served as a board member with notable organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the White House Council on U.S. Competitiveness.
